Foreteller returns cleaner, greener and with more space

Stena Foreteller will return to the Rotterdam Europoort/ Immingham route, following a major rebuild and renovation in China at the end of July. With an additional cargo deck and a 30%, the vessel further reduces CO₂ emissions per cargo unit.

The vessel has also been equipped with a shore power connection system, to reduce emissions while in port. Due to the additional deck, the wind exposed area has increased, placing greater demands on the vessel’s manoeuvrability and mooring, so bow thrusters have been upgraded and additional mooring winches have been installed.

Sister ship Stena Forerunner will start a similar rebuild from the end of the summer.
