Forth Ports chair hands over the reins

Forth Ports chair, Lord Smith of Kelvin, is retiring from his role at the company and will hand over to Robin Watson.

Lord Smith was appointed in 2015 and is stepping down in accordance with appropriate corporate governance guidelines at the conclusion of his 10-year tenure.

A marine engineer by training, Robin Watson has more than 35 years of business and industrial experience. He is a non-executive director at Honeywell International and a shareholder nominated director of National Gas. He is also an operating partner with Macquarie Asset Management and a senior adviser to McKinsey & Co.
