Forwarding boosts Xpediator Group

[ June 8, 2021   //   ]

Demand for Xpediator Group’s services across all three divisions has been strong, said the UK-based forwarder in a statement ahead of its annual general meeting on 8 June. It said that those parts of the Transport and Logistics & Warehousing divisions that were impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic were now all trading positively and the business is well placed to exceed market forecasts for the financial year ending 31 December 2021. The freight forwarding deivision performed particularly well, the company added. While cross channel freight forwarding volumes have been lower, as some clients found alternative sourcing arrangements than the UK, the additional paperwork associated with the new custom control processes has led to additional revenue.
