FourKites soars in Europe

Supply chain visibility platform FourKites says is has achieved 148% growth in European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) shipments over the last 12 months. The number of customers tracking loads with FourKites in the region has grown by 59% in while the number of carriers tracking shipments has increased by 55% in the same period.

In January 2022, FourKites acquired German supply chain visibility provider NIC-place, which provides visibility software solutions specifically designed for transport companies. The acquisition created the largest multimodal carrier network in Europe, says FourKites.

Recent senior-level hires include Katja van Trigt, senior director talent & development EMEA; Jeroen Peijnenburg, enterprise account director, Southern Europe; Nicu Ciontea, carrier manager; and Nicholas Mellings, enterprise account director EMEA.

The company has opened a larger European headquarters in Amsterdam a new office in Munich serving the German market and an increased presence in Poland.
