Freight info at drivers’ fingertips
[ October 1, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Supply chain data exchange company TransFollow has launched web-based access to TransFollow Drive, enabling drivers to manage digital transport processes through any web browser without downloading additional software.
It provides the same capabilities as the existing TransFollow Drive app, allowing drivers to follow transport missions, exchange data and documents with back-office teams and complete electronic proof of delivery and electronic consignment notes.
It also supports timestamping, geolocation, and secure electronic signatures, with information available to stakeholders immediately, both online and offline.
TransFollow managing director, Alexis Périnet-Marquet, said: “Drivers can access everything they need for a transport mission in one place, while information is exchanged securely with the back office and other stakeholders, reducing paperwork and unnecessary administration.”
TransFollow says that European legislation is accelerating the transition away from paper-based transport processes, including Spain’s mandatory digital Administrative Control Document, which comes into force on 5 October. Under this, information must be available during transport and accessible to drivers for roadside inspections, increasing the need for digital documentation that can be located quickly and easily.
