FTA signs up Man U star for Northern Ireland lunch

[ February 12, 2020   //   ]

Former Man United star Andy Cole will be speaking at FTA’s annual Northern Ireland Logistics Lunch, at the Merchant Hotel in Belfast on Friday 5 June.

Famed for his role in the treble victory in 1999 – the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League titles – the ex-England striker will inspire the audience with his tales of success, failure and resilience as post-lunch entertainment.

FTA policy manager for Northern Ireland, Seamus Leheny, commented: “We are thrilled to have secured Andy Cole as post-lunch entertainment at this annual event. His illustrious career as a professional footballer – which has seen him go down in history as one of English football’s most talented players – will make for an insightful and inspirational talk for sports fans and non-sports fans alike. I am looking forward to celebrating another successful year for the logistics sector with the industry’s finest; do not miss your chance to join us.”

The event also serves as a fundraiser for PIPS Charity, a Belfast-based organisation providing suicide prevention and bereavement support services, counselling and therapies throughout Northern Ireland.
