Geodis completes Malherbe buy

French-owned forwarder Geodis has completed its acquisition of Transports Malherbe, following regulatory approval. Malherbe specialises in full truckload road transport, with a strong presence in the agri-food and retail sectorsand it allows Geodis to strengthen its territorial network throughout France and consolidate its position among the top three players in the French market for less-than-truckload and full truckload transport. Founded in 1956, Malherbe relies on an extensive network of 40 agencies and its own fleet of nearly 1,500 trucks and over 3,000 employees.
