Geodis grows its Polish footprint

[ November 20, 2025   //   ]

French-headquartered logistics firm Geodis has expanded its presence in Poland through an extended partnership with property developer Segro.

It has committed to substantial new warehouse space. The first new location, covering nearly 5,500sq m at Segro Logistics Park Wrocław, Biskupice, will be dedicated to serving a major European food producer.

Geodis has also extended its long-term cooperation at the Segro Logistics Park Stryków in Central Poland, increasing its footprint by a further 4,000 sqm at this multi-customer site.

The agreement also allows for further expansion in both locations.

Geodis provides comprehensive supply chain solutions in Poland, serving sectors such as automotive, FMCG, industry, retail, and healthcare.

Geodis Poland is playing an increasingly important role as a logistics hub for domestic distribution and international flows. The new warehouses, with access to major motorways, make them ideal gateways for goods moving within Europe and beyond. Wrocław, in particular, serves as a key transit point for goods arriving from Western Europe and destined for Central and Eastern European markets.

Geodis Poland managing director, Bogdan Młynarczyk, said: “Increasing our capacity in Poland is more than an investment – it’s a decisive step toward future-ready logistics. Our new sites will enable us to better meet growing customer demands, facilitate strategic flows across Central Europe, and further strengthen Geodis’s position as a trusted partner in the region.”

Geodis currently employs over 1,000 people in Poland, and the enlarged facilities are expected to generate additional jobs for warehouse staff, logistics specialists, and support teams.
