Geodis obtains TAPA cert in Manchester

Geodis has obtained Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) security certification for its warehouse and distribution centre in Manchester, along with its contract logistics centre in Cologne, Rodgau, Aurach in Germany and in Gothenburg. TAPA Facility Security Requirements (FSR) level regulates physical security in warehouses and logistics centres and ensures high-security freight management.
Audits include protocols for access control on site and within buildings, physical security and the protection of assets through comprehensive CCTV surveillance and alarm systems, as well as requirements for risk assessments and staff training. The certification is valid for three years.
