Getting wet in a good cause
[ June 24, 2013 // Chris ]For the second year in a row, Cargolux took the top spot at the Luxembourg Red Cross’s Afterwork Swimming event. A team of Cargolux employees competed against eight other corporate teams in a gruelling race involving aquatic marathon, an endurance relay race, sprint swimming and water running. Proceeds go to the Red Cross Social Groceries stores in Luxembourg where families in need can buy essential food for about one-third of the regular price. Cargolux also donated €2,500 in cash towards the project.
