Green light for Felixstowe logistics park

[ December 3, 2015   //   ]

The Port of Felixstowe has received planning permission for the first phase of a 1.4 million square foot logistics park. The approval covers the first four warehouses, providing nearly 1 million square feet of storage space with the largest being 360,000sq ft. Finance director Mark Seaman says there has already been significant interest from potential occupiers.
The initial Logistics Park Masterplan provides for four separate units from 106,000sq ft upwards with Phase 1 occupying 51 acres of the total 68 acre site. The remainder will be built as part of Phase 2. The logistics park will benefit from the same excellent road and rail connections developed to serve Felixstowe as the UK’s largest container port.
