Maersk has appointed Guillaume Sauzedde as regional managing director for Europe Region, succeeding head of Europe Region Aymeric Chandavoine, who is taking a position outside the industry. Sauzedde, a French national, joined Maersk in 2024 as head of logistics and services for Europe region after holding managing director roles for CEVA Logistics and Kühne + Nagel.
Sauzedde will be based in Maersk’s main office in the Polish capital but will also visit the Copenhagen headquarters regularly. Europe is the largest Region in Maersk’s global organization and reaches from Kazakhstan on the border of China to Greenland, as well as North Africa and the Nordic region.
