Gulftainer ready to set up Uganda dry port

Gulftainer is in advanced discussions with the Government of the Republic of Uganda to develop the country’s first rail‑connected dry port. It would be be situated at a strategic point on the expanding rail network and close to key industrial zones, and would provide intermodal connections to seaports, shifting container traffic from road to rail.
