Healthcare in a coffee cup

[ September 4, 2017   //   ]

Stena Line is offering customers the chance to choose to buy coffee or tea in a special Mercy Ships mug where 20p will be donated directly to the charity to help it deliver health care to the developing world.

Mercy Ships signed a partnership with the ferry operator in February of this year.

Stena chief executive Niclas Mårtensson said: “Every year we sell over 1 million cups of coffee or tea on board our ships and we believe that buying their hot drink in a Mercy Ship mug is a simple and effective way for our customers to help make a contribution to the inspiring work of the Mercy Ships charity.”

The coffee cup campaign will run until 31 October.
