Healthy business for Ireland’s Ace

[ November 29, 2013   //   ]

Irish-based Ace Express says it is the only pallet network to receive the life sciences industry’s GDP passport for Good Distribution Practice.

GDP produces guidelines for the proper distribution of medicinal products for human use and is a quality warranty system, which includes requirements for purchase, receiving, storage and export of drugs intended for human consumption. It regulates the division and movement of pharmaceutical products from the manufacturer, or other central point, to the end user or to an intermediate point by means of various transport methods, via any storage and/or health establishments.

North County Dublin-based Ace Express Freight was established in 1989 and provides freight import and export services to companies that trade to and from Ireland. In conjunction with its global partners Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, it provides road sea and airfreight services worldwide with a network of over 450 offices in 156 countries.
