How’s that for a Christmas dec?

[ December 16, 2015   //   ]

You won’t find one of these in your local Homebase. Logistics company Rhenus has brought the joy of Christmas to Bangor, Northern Ireland with the delivery of a giant decorative bauble.
The 4-metre diameter globe sits proudly on display in the town centre, and was transported in 11 separate parts for its journey from Zabize, Poland via Dublin. The entire journey took just five days which left plenty of time to reassemble it before the festivities.
Colm West, branch manager of Rhenus Logistics Belfast, said: “It’s always a special pleasure to ship decorations for the festive season, especially when you think about the children’s faces when they see the Christmas lights. Plus, the decorations look lovely and have helped transform the town into a Christmas wonderland.”
Rhenus has increasingly played a pivotal role in transporting Christmas trees and other giant decorations to shopping centres and councils across Europe.
