Hungary for growth

[ May 14, 2019   //   ]

Palletways Hungary has moved a total of 20,000 pallets since launching in October last year. The network, which started with eleven members from across the country, transported around 100 pallets a day in its first month of operation but over the past seven months this figure has risen significantly to around 300 pallets a day. With its main hub in the western suburbs of Budapest, Palletways Hungary currently has 15 members offering a domestic next-day premium service, an economy service and morning deliveries.

Managing director of Palletways Hungary Peter Kovacs, said: “We are looking to expand our import and export opportunities to and from the UK, Germany and Iberia. These regions have already made good use of the network so there is great potential for development.”
