IAG flies back to Tokyo

[ October 23, 2020   //   ]

IAG Cargo has restarted year-round, three times per week direct flights from London Heathrow to Tokyo paused due to coronavirus. Tokyo is particularly significant for the export of pharmaceutical goods, on the carrier’s Constant Climate service.

Area commercial manager for Japan and Korea, Alec Rayner, said: “Japan is an important part of our network and we are pleased to be re-opening London Heathrow-Tokyo Haneda for our customers. The route is vital for them to stay connected with their trading partners worldwide, allowing the movement of Japanese pharmaceuticals, automotive and manufacturing goods to reach hundreds of destinations.”
