IAG signs Finnair freighter deal
[ July 27, 2015 // Chris ]IAG Cargo has signed a block space agreement with Finnair Cargo to use the latter’s freighter capacity between London Luton and Helsinki. Operated by an A300-600 cargo freighter, the new air bridge will give IAG Cargo customers greater network reach, including Finnair’s flights to Asia. It is the second freighter deal signed by IAG Cargo since signing a deal to use a Qatar Airways freighter between Hong Kong and London Stansted.
The freighter will fly twice a week and will supplement Finnairs’ seven and IAG Cargos’ two daily narrow-body services between London Heathrow and Helsinki.
