ICL opens Felixstowe office

International Cargo Logistics (ICL) has opened a branch in Felixstowe, its fifth  location alongside the Netherlands and Vietnam.

The new office is headed by Joe Walsh, who brings over 22 years’ industry experience, with the last four years spent in a similar role. He will be initially supported by a senior import/export operator and there are plans to expand the team further.

ICL chief executive Yoav Izhari said: “Launching ICL Felixstowe is a logical move for the business, enabling us to capitalise on the growth opportunities associated with a physical presence in the town operating such a substantial percentage of the country’s ocean-bound freight. We are confident that with Joe’s impressive credentials in the logistics sector, together with his inherent knowledge of the excellent capabilities of the Port of Felixstowe, we can expect to witness a solid growth in sales in line with the achievements of the Manchester and Bristol offices.”
