In the family way

[ February 13, 2020   //   ]

Nick Saunders, son of FBJ publisher John, has gone into the shipping container business – but not as you might be expected. Rather than grapple with paltry freight rates and cancelled sailings, he has found a much more profitable use for his boxes – catering to the hipsters of Cardiff (yes, such creatures DO exist).
Specialist firm Budget Shipping Containers has supplied Nick’s DEPOT Cardiff venue with a total of five 40fts and five 20fts fitted out as bars, storage units and gents and ladies loos.
It’s described as the premier venue space for creative music events, hip hop, karaoke plus other events including Ginstock, Brewfest, Pizza & Prosecco and Bingo Lingo – and it’s available for corporate events, beer festivals, location filming and more.
Wonder what’s in the cocktails – Brains Bitter, maybe?
