Jan de Rijk to truck for Norwegian

[ October 30, 2015   //   ]

Low-cost carrier Norwegian Cargo has appointed Jan de Rijk Logistics to operate its delivery network to more than 50 airports around Europe. Shipments arriving in London from the US will now be transported daily to key European cargo gateways including Brussels, Amsterdam and Frankfurt in less than 48 hours after departure.

Norwegian operates between London Gatwick and New York, Los Angeles, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale and Boston, offering up to 15 tonnes capacity on its 787-8 Dreamliners.

Jan de Rijk’s senior sales executive for air cargo Robert Kleppers said: “Some of the world’s largest airlines already recognise our customer service and operational experience so we are delighted that Norwegian has chosen to work with us. Jan de Rijk Logistics is TAPA TSR1 and IATA CEIV Pharma Handling certified, so we can offer any kind of service that will make Norwegian’s cargo proposition even more compelling.”
