Jersey freight firm signs deal with secure transport specialist

Jersey Post’s freight arm JPGL UK has signed a new commercial partnership with Heathrow-based secure transport specialist, TIV Logistics. It will increase JPGL UK’s flexibility and give TIV a gateway to the Channel Islands. As part of the deal, partnership, JPGL UK Customs Agents and ETOE (Extraterritorial Office of Exchange) team will relocate to TIV’s headquarters on the Bedfont Estate in Ashford from November. 

JPGL UK (part of Jersey Post Group) is an island freight specialist, based in the UK, with depots in Portsmouth and Isle of Wight and offers freight, customs and warehouse services. It is also a member of the Pallet-Track network in the UK.

Jersey Post Group chief financial officer, Maxine Dunn, said: “TIV can open doors to new opportunities for JPGL UK. With our customs clearance and storage capabilities coupled with our extensive history of moving goods across the UK and Channel Islands, we hope TIV can also benefit from our expertise.”
