M7 Real Estate Ireland has let Ballymount Logistics Hub in west Dublin to JMC on a long-term lease. The 151,000sq ft building, 600 metres from Junction 10 of the M50 sits on a site of over seven acres and provides 26 dock levellers and space for 17,175 euro pallets.

It has been acquired mainly for JMC’s UK customers who require a presence in Ireland and provides storage, pick, pack and next-day nationwide delivery.

The newly refurbished facility has a BER rating of A2 and BREEAM In-Use Very Good accreditation. M7 installed energy-efficient windows, LED lighting throughout, a PIR system, a new air source heat pump, EV charging points and energy-efficient Variable Refrigerant Flow systems.

JMC managing director, Garrett Murphy, commented: “This is testament to JMC’s long-term commitment to our national and international customers. From customs clearance to our thirty-two-county nationwide network, we can provide a complete end-to-end solution.”

M7 managing director, John Murnaghan, added: “I am really pleased that JMC has chosen Ballymount Logistics Hub as their warehousing division location. They are an impressive, fast-growing business, which is exactly the type of occupier we enjoy working with. We look forward to growing our relationship with JMC.”
