John Good Shipping makes Shanghai appointment

John Good Shipping has appointed Peter Shan as dedicated UK Trade Manager, based in Shanghai at the offices of the John Good Group’s partner, Fiege International Freight Forwarder (China). It signals John Good’s intentions to further grow its business operations in China, whilst offering an enhanced range of supply chain management and value added services at both origin and destination.

Although its headquarters are in Germany, contract logistics operator Fiege has eight offices and more than 27,500 m2 of warehousing throughout China.

John Good Group managing director, Alan Platt, said: “The combination of having our own people in Shanghai, coupled with the strong partnership we have with Fiege, will enable us to enhance our logistics activities across the whole supply chain.”
