Kale hosts first hackathon
[ February 13, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Kale Logistics Solutions hosted its first hackathon, KaiTETHON 2026, artificial intelligence innovation programme for the air and maritime sectors, on 4-7 February in Mumbai, India.
Open to university students, start-ups, industry innovators, and Kale employees, it brought together shortlisted entries for a 48-hour, in-person hackathon focused on solving real-world industry challenges.
Participants designed products within four key themes: port community systems, airport cargo community systems, sales and business operations, and talent and human resources.
More than 300 individuals registered for KaiTETHON, with a final shortlist of 50 participants forming 10 teams selected to compete in the hackathon.
The winning team was Logicode, comprising of team members Himanshu Rathore, Tanmay Mandwekar, Sumit Bhagat, and Siddhivinayak Chandrakant.
Kale has committed to holding the KaiTETHON annually.
