KLM offers cargo co-loading app

[ October 8, 2020   //   ]

The KLM Cargo Compliance Knowledge Centre (CKC) has developed an app for co-loading segregation checks, for example for dangerous goods. It forms part of the AirFranceKLM Martinair Cargo Toolbox which can be downloaded from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android and automatically adopts the language settings of the user’s phone. The CKC previously launched the Mr Beam app for pallet builders and next year plans to create a lost-and-found app – workers encountering a stray package would scan the barcode sticker and get the necessary information. The carrier says it will be the first airline to start using the Cargo Toolbox but will make it available to all others in our sector, free of charge.
