KN reorganises

[ March 8, 2013   //   ]

Forwarder Kuehne + Nagel is to merge its current Central Europe, North West Europe and Southwest Europe units into a single “West Europe” region, headquartered in Hamburg as part of a reorganisation aimed at shortening decision making processes and improving responsiveness to changing market conditions.

The East Europe region with a head office in Vienna remains unchanged.

The Middle East/Central Asia and Africa will also be consolidated into a new Middle East/Africa region headquartered in Dubai.

Two regional teams will be established in the Asia-Pacific region. The China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau national companies will become part of a North Asia region from 1 July, headquartered in Shanghai, while the South Asian countries, South Korea and Japan become part of the South Asia region with a main base in Singapore.
