London City Bond to take London Gateway site

[ January 31, 2022   //   ]

London City Bond has signed a lease for a 146,000sq ft warehouse at DP World London Gateway. The tax warehousing company will establish a bonded facility at the site from March, taking advantage of the site’s status as part of Thames Freeport. London City Bond specializes in storage for drinks trade customers.

Managing Director Alf Allington said: “The current shortage of quality warehousing is well documented, and it is therefore even more exciting to have secured this new unit within the freeport as we know from our past experience just what additional benefits this can bring to us as a tenant, whilst at the same time allowing us to offer bespoke port-centric solutions to our customers.”

DHL started construction of the largest warehouse to date on the park in May last year while document management firm Oasis Group signed a long-term agreement in October.
