Lotus revs up its supply chain with DHL

DHL Supply Chain has been appointed by Lotus Cars to manage inbound-to-manufacturing warehousing and transport operations for the next five years.
From August, DHL will be responsible for planning all logistics movements, worldwide collection and tracking of parts, inventory management, picking, kitting and sequencing of products, and shunting from its warehouse to the Lotus Advanced Performance Centre and headquarters in Hethel, near Norwich.
Managing director, manufacturing logistics UKI at DHL Supply Chain, Mike Bristow, (pictured right, with Matt Windle, managing director at Lotus Cars) said: “Lotus Cars is an iconic British brand with a strong heritage and an exciting future ahead.
