LTS trucks race to the truck races
[ March 25, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Birmingham freight forwarding and logistics company LTS Global Solutions is once official transport partner for the 2026 British Truck Racing Championship.
The new season got underway over Easter weekend at Brands Hatch and seven race weekends are scheduled at venues including Donington Park, Snetterton and Thruxton.
In case any readers are wondering, yes people do throw five-tonne trucks around motor circuits – minus the 40ft trailers of course -and this motorsport niche is becoming increasingly popular.
Up to 20 heavily modified machines that unleash over 1,000 bhp on track take part with close‑quarter racing and wheel‑to‑wheel battles that set it apart from virtually every other form of competition in British motorsport.
All this adrenalin notwithstanding, BTRC is actively pushing sustainability within motorsport by committing to the use of 100% renewable diesel, which can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional diesel.
Having initially sponsored the BTRC for the first time last year, LTS Global Solutions is once again throwing its support behind the action.
With locations in the UK, India, Dubai, and Hong Kong, the company has significantly expanded its international presence in recent years.
