Lufthansa’s new 777F makes first Shanghai call
[ April 7, 2014 // Chris ]Lufthansa Cargo’s new Boeing 777F made its first call at Shanghai Pudong, becoming the first city in the carriers global route network to be served with daily flights by the aircraft.
Regional director Christian Haug told over 100 representatives of the logistics industry in Shanghai. “The Triple Seven is already setting standards in reliability. “The Boeing 777F bearing registration D-ALFC was christened “Ni Hao, China” (“Good Day, China”) on arrival in Shanghai.
However, a planned international launch of the nrew aircraft had to be cancelled because of a three-day strike by Lufthansa pilots last week in a long-running dispute over pension benefits.
