Maersk opens Atlanta ground hub

Maersk has opened a ground freight station and integrated linehaul operations hub in Lake City, Georgia, just south of Atlanta. Located near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and with direct access to Interstate 75, the facility has 105,000sq ft of operational space, 28 loading docks, and a dedicated fleet of 15 trucks and 60 trailers. It is also equipped with RF scanning and digital dimensioning. It supports a full range of services including LTL services, FTL, linehaul operations, home and store delivery and dedicated fleet.
