More apprentices for Schenker

Schenker Limited, the UK arm of DB Schenker Logistics, has introduced six more young people to its National Apprenticeship programme following the success of the first two groups. The programme has been running since 2010. The company also have a vacancy for one more in Basildon. The new group will be based from a variety of locations up and down the UK and will undertake a 30 month long apprenticeship with the global logistics provider, after which they will receive an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration and an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service. Each will be assigned a ‘buddy’ to oversee their workplace well being and who will also act as their own point of contact within the company.
