More cool stuff from FedEx

[ August 1, 2013   //   ]

FedEx has expanded its temperature controlled packaging portfolio to include a new “cold shipping” packaging option for customers that require a refrigerated environment of 2-8° C and for up to 96 hours. The new packaging is aimed at the healthcare industry. The patented NanoCool system achieves a temperature of 4°C in less than five minutes without the use of gel packs or dry ice through a special cooling system that evaporates water over time. The packaging can also be used in combination with FedEx’s SenseAware and Priority Alert services.
