More space, more flights from Lufthansa

[ March 4, 2019   //   ]

Lufthansa Cargo will add new services and increase capacity by around 10% in its summer schedule from 31 March, following the delivery of two new Boeing 777F freighters.
There will be two additional flights between Frankfurt and Tokyo Narita via Novosibirsk while Osaka will see services stepped up from two to three times weekly, on the outward leg via Seoul Incheon, taking Lufthansa’s South Korean frequencies to nine a week.
It will also fly to Hong Kong with an MD-11F daily instead of six times a week.
Other new connections include seven weekly flights to Mumbai while services to Chennai and Ho Chi Minh City will be doubled with an AeroLogic Boeing 777F operating twice a week.
In North America Atlanta will be served seven times a week instead of six and Chicago instead of eight.
A Boeing 777F only will be used exclusively on the new direct flights to Mexico City and Buenos Aires via Viracopos and Montevideo or Curitiba as well as on the direct flight from Frankfurt to Viracopos, with a stop in Dakar on the return leg.
