Netcompany to deliver next phase of Ulster Trader Support Service

[ December 17, 2025   //   ]

HMRC has selected existing partner Netcompany to deliver the next phase of the Trader Support Service for traffic between Great Britain and Northern Ireland under the Windsor Framework.

The Windsor Framework, agreed in 2023 between the UK and EU, revised the Northern Ireland Protocol by reducing customs checks on goods staying in Northern Ireland, whilst maintaining the province’s access to the EU single market.

The new TSS digital solution will be built on Netcompany’s existing ERMIS customs platform, and its AMPLIO platform will also be integrated with ERMIS to provide casework management capabilities, enabling customer support agents to manage more complex trader enquiries. The new TSS digital solution will be user-focused and more intuitive, and will comply with GDS service standards, says Netcompany.

Intelligent guidance will be embedded directly in the next phase of the TSS portal, and users will be digitally supported by AI to help resolve queries.

Netcompany as prime contractor will collaborate with partners including HGS, McKinsey, the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade, Trade and Borders, clearBorder, 3Sixty Trade, Derry Bros, and Digicom.
