New boss for Schenker

Jochen Thewes is to be Schenker AG’s new chairman of the board of management, from 1 September . An internationally recognized supply chain and logistics expert, he has since 2011 been the forwarder and logistics giant’s chief executive officer in Singapore. Prior to that, he was senior vice president global ocean freight. Previous positions before joining DB Schenker include senior management positions at Kuehne + Nagel.
