New chapter for HarperCollins site

Real estate advisor CBRE is marketing one of the largest single industrial letting opportunities in Scotland for over a decade – a 860,892 sq ft (67 acres) site at Westerhill Business Park in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

The facility was formerly the UK and global distribution headquarters for publisher HarperCollins.

It comprises of two warehouse, a standalone headquarters office building extending 118,000 sq ft and additional land with future development potential. It also includes two gatehouses and 442 car parking spaces, supporting a fully operational and secure logistics environment.

It is also part of the Westerhill Regeneration Area – part of East Dunbartonshire Council’s £34.88 million Place and Growth Programme – a 300-hectare zone marked for significant commercial investment, including 85 hectares of employment land and improved infrastructure connections. It has connections to the M80, M8, and M73 motorways, is close to Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Prestwick airports, and lies near Mossend International Railfreight Park, Scotland’s largest international rail freight terminal.
