New feeder link between Poti and Istanbul

[ December 15, 2022   //   ]

APM Terminals Poti has handled the maiden call of Zim Line’s new Poti Turkiye Feeder (PTF) service between Turkey and Georgia.

The 925TEU Contship Joy will operate between Turkish ports and Poti Port every 12-14 days.

Poti is a gateway for Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, with on-dock rail connections and is connected to all key cities in Georgia, the greater Caucasus region and Central Asia.

APM Terminals’ chief commercial officer, Iain Rawlinson, said: “With the increased need for connections between Georgia and Central Asia and the rest of the world, and the growth in this market, we are confident that ZIM will have great success with their new Turkiye-Poti Feeder service.”
