New gear boosts Cebu airport capacity

An Antonov-124 chartered by the Department for International Development (DFID) has brought in cargo loading gear to double the amount of aid that can flow through the Philippines’ Cebu airport. The equipment includes a main deck loader, forklifts, a tow tractor, a 4×4, pallets, oil and tools. Cebu is now handling over 800 tonnes of cargo per day.
