New logistics centre for Cartagena

Kuehne + Nagel inaugurated a new logistics facility inside Contecar Port, Cartagena in Colombia on 6 October at a ceremony attended by Transport Minister, German Cardona, and KN International chairman Karl Gernandt. The new centre provides 10,000sq m warehouse space and 11,000 pallet positions and enables KN to expand its contract logistics footprint. Contecar, a 90 hectare private port facility located near the harbour entrance and industrial zone, is currently being upgraded for 12,000teu ships by 2013.
