New MD for Merseyside’s SSO Group

St Helens-based logistics company SSO Group has appointed Mike Brown to oversee the SSO Logistics side of its business, which specialises in BRCGS food grade warehousing and palletised distribution through the Pallet-Track network.

As part of the same restructure, Simon Haslam has moved across to the SSO International Forwarding arm of the group, which specialises in customs clearance and customs regimes. He will also take on the role of managing director.

Elsewhere in the business, Josh Martindale continues in his role of operations director at SSOL, with Gary McDermott taking on the role of operations director for SSOIF.
