New partner to boost Air Malta cargo

[ May 26, 2016   //   ]

Air Malta has appointed Network Airline Services (NAS) as its Total Cargo Management (TCM) service provider.

The TCM concept is used by airlines to generate additional cargo revenues by maximising cargo hold while the airline concentrates on its core passenger. As well as a guaranteed income to Air Malta, the project will generate cost savings in areas such as sales and marketing, pricing and revenue management, cargo reservations, revenue accounting, back-office administration, IT systems, cargo handling and interline contracts.

It will also enable Air Malta to re-establish itself in the market place, and increase distribution channels.

Air Malta’s head of cargo sales and marketing said: “With over 30 years air cargo management experience, NAS are strategically positioned to assist Air Malta and together roll out our exciting plans and projects which will radically transform in a positive manner the way we conduct our cargo business.”
