Oakland reopens

The Port of Oakland reopened on Thursday morning, following its closures by protesters. On Wednesday, the US’s fifth busiest port became the latest victim of the ‘Occupy’ movement that seeks to shut down major US institutions in a protest against corporate greed. However, the port warned that the situation in the area “remains fluid”.
