ONE announces succession

Till Ole Barrelet will join Ocean Network Express (ONE) on 1 May as chief executive – designate, succeeding Jeremy Nixon on 1 July 2026, at which point the latter becomes senior advisor.

Nixon has led ONE since its inception in April 2018, transforming the legacy Japanese carriers – K Line, MOL, and NYK – into a unified global container shipping company with a fleet of over 260 vessels and capacity exceeding 2 million TEU.

Till brings over 20 years of maritime and logistics experience to the role, most recently as chief executive of Emirates Shipping Line.

A new ONE executive management team structure will comprise the chief executive and seven representatives from across all divisions.
