Pall-Ex launches in Ireland

Pall-Ex Group has opened a network in Ireland. The official launch of Pall-Ex Ireland took place on 1stMay 2024 with a ceremony held in one of its warehouses, attended by Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Jack Chambers.

Operating from a facility in Dublin, Pall-Ex Ireland already has 16 members and is actively recruiting further businesses.

Bernard McSweeney, responsible for Pall-Ex Ireland operations, commented:

“The Pall-Ex Ireland team has extensive experience in freight forwarding and customs clearance, we are ideally positioned to support a range of businesses with their local, national and International freight requirements.”

“Now we have officially launched, we look forward to welcoming additional members to the network, ensuring we provide the best cross-border solution in the sector”.

Sue Buchanan, international director at Pall-Ex Group, added: “Due to significant customs changes in recent years, Pall-Ex requires a permanent post-Brexit solution to ensure we can continue offering excellent delivery services to Southern Ireland.

“Harnessing our technology system, Nexus, means that customers can seamlessly move freight between the UK and Ireland, in addition to offering a broad range of services, including next day delivery, to the majority of Ireland.

“The extensive experience of our team has ensured a smooth transition for customers using Pall-Ex in and out of Ireland, with an ongoing guarantee that quality remains at the forefront of these services.”
