Palletforce goes supersized

[ January 25, 2016   //   ]

Palletforce is investing £20 million to turn its existing base at Burton on Trent, Staffordshire into a ‘superhub’, the first major project by the pallet network’s new owners EmergeVest. When complete, the 620,000sq ft development will be the biggest of its kind in Europe, capable of processing over 30,000 pallets per night for distribution across the UK and the continent. Currently, Palletforce runs from a 380,000sq ft distribution centre and a second 240,000sq ft facility will be built on an adjacent 38-acre site, and is expected to go online in early 2017.
