Palletways looks north

[ September 18, 2018   //   ]

The Palletways freight network has expanded its delivery services into Sweden, Finland and Norway. It is operating in partnership with regional logistics supplier PostNord, which has been using Palletways’ delivery services across 20 European countries since 2011. Palletways already serves Denmark

Chief operating officer of Palletways Group, Luis Zubialde, said: “We are continuously looking for opportunities to expand and enhance our offer to our members and customers and this new coverage presents a very exciting moment for the business. The service is fully integrated with the existing network, meaning customers and members have a seamless connection to any point in the Nordics. There is a clear opportunity to support companies from across Europe moving pallets to their customers in the Nordic territories – for example the UK exports some £25 billion of goods to the Nordics annually.”

PostNord’s head of eCommerce and logistics, Tim Jørnsen,  added: “Through Palletways, our customers now have access to one of Europe’s most established and competent pallet delivery networks. With the new agreement, we are able to prove that our network is the best choice for Palletways’ European customers in terms of deliveries to the Nordic region.”
