Parcels firm passes on a little Christmas cheer

[ December 16, 2016   //   ]

Parcel collection service, Pass My Parcel is heading to six cities this week to hand out 5,000 articles of winter clothing to homeless people. Employees at the company and its sister brands – newspaper and magazine wholesaler Smiths News and coffee company Jack’s Beans – have been collecting the clothes to distribute during December.

Managing director of Smiths News and owner of Pass My Parcel Jonathan Bunting, (pictured) explained: “According to Homeless UK, approximately 3,500 people sleep rough every single night across the UK. Our ‘Pass It On’ campaign is helping raise awareness of this issue and is a great way to give something back to the community this Christmas time.”
